Nabil has substantial experience in the field of capital markets and financial services.

Prior to joining AK&P, Nabil was Heading The Egyptian Capital Markets Surveillance Sector at the Financial Regularity Authority, and led the Capital Markets Department for the period 2017-2023;

Throughout his career, NABIL held several high-profile positions as financial markets professional and legislator such as the General Manager of Trading Markets (2017-2023), Supervisor of Transactions Follow-Up (2009- 2013), Supervisor of Listing for Exchanges (2007-2009) and Financial Markets Specialist since 1998;

Nabil also completed and holds numerous top-level professional certifications including:

• Regulation of Derivatives Products by CFTC – USA;
• Fintech Forward by CFTC – USA;
• Trading Surveillance Role by Eurex – Frankfurt Stock Exchange – Germany;
• Development and Characteristics of the Capital Markets, by Duets Che Bundesbank, Germany;
• Role of Regulator for Capital Markets, by BaFin – Germany;
• Corporate Finance Rules by “Dubai Financial Market;
• Corporate Finance and Market Corporation Oversight by SEC – USA;
• Quantitative Methods & Alternative Investments by “the American University in Cairo, Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF)”.

Nabil is also Certified Market Risk Specialist by “The American Bankers Association” and member of the Training Committee in several capital market associations.

Nabil obtained Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Cairo University in 1997, and MBA from Arab Academy for Science & Technology in 2004.
