Bassinte works extensively on numerous matters and issues related to corporate, civil, antitrust, maritime, and commercial laws. In this regard, she has achieved exceptional expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and companies’ incorporation. Furthermore, Bassinte has worked on numerous litigation and arbitration cases before the Egyptian courts, the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration and The International Court of Commerce. In addition, she participated in drafting the Antitrust Report published by the American Chamber in Egypt regarding Antitrust Law in Egypt.
Bassinte obtained her LLB from Faculty of Law, Cairo University, and Licence de Droit, Institut de Droit des Affaires Internationales (IDAI) – from “Université de Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne (Bachelor of Law) in 2007. Later on, in 2008, she obtained her Master Degree in International Business Law (Master 2 Professionnel) from Université de Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne and she was admitted to practice law in Egypt in 2007.
Bassinte is a certified Egyptian lawyer and holds a certificate entitling her to enroll at the Paris bar. Bassinte handles cases in English, French and Arabic.
